After the merger of 21^st century insurance with AIG group, CIH project was started to integrate 21^st century auto insurance business with AIG.

This project was about creating a website and call center support software for Auto insurance group using Chordiant workflows, JSF, J2EE, spring, Hibernate, and oracle as main technologies.

 

Roles and Responsibilities: Technical Lead

 

·         Design of HLD using UML including class action diagram, sequence diagram consisting of service model and object model.

·         Designing and coding workflows in SOA based Chordiant Business Process Designer and foundation server.

This was the biggest project in India of it’s time led by Primary Vendor TATA Consultancy Services with FNS(Financial Network Solutions), Australia for Customization, System Integration and Implementation of B@NCS-24 a Core Banking Solution package at pilot sites to deploy a high-performance, 24x7 availability state-of the art “anywhere banking” Core Banking Solution that interfaces with different banking channels. This comprehensive solution will ensure the realization of a fully functional Centralized Core banking solution for SBI and its associate banks involving 14000 branches (approx.) across the country.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Gathering the requirements from client and discussions with FNS Australia team for feasibility and technical analysis.

Development of Map Server                                                                                    Jan 02 – Sep 02

Role: Developer

 

This was an R&D project for development of Object GIS (Geographical Informational System) tool. Map server was a part of the tool. The map server is a web-based tool, which creates maps on demand from geodetic data. The geodetic data was stored on Oracle Spatial, which is part of Oracle 9i. Maps were created online by receiving the client request and using Java Servlets for fetching and rendering the data on image. The image was then encoded in GIF/JPEG format and sent to the client browser.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Designing and coding classes for reading the required data from Oracle spatial and render the image as required by the client.
